Allthough we unfortunately don't have the time and manpower to give the site a facelift, our users should know that GRIS continues to be updated monthly with new mutations and literature links (if new data is available).

GRIS upload accounts that have been inactive for more than 2 years have been deleted for security reasons. Don't hesitate to apply for a new account should you have mutation data to upload.

We're back! We had a few technical problems with the network connection, but those are all solved now.
Also, news about uploaded mutations will not be posted here in the 'news' section anymore, due to lack of time.
But don't worry, the regular GRIS updates will of course continue!

20 new mutations added from article by De Leener et al (2008). This article describes the first extracellular domain mutation leading to OHSS.
It is possible to retrieve all mutations described in this article by searching on author name in the bottom text query field of the Mutant Query page.

The first two LHR SNPs in dairy cattle (bovine) were published and added to GRIS (Hastings et al.)

Dear GRIS user,
we highly appreciate your remarks, suggestions, irritations and everything that can help us to improve the functionality of GRIS.
GRIS is still a fairly new information system, so we realize that some things can be improved.
Don't hesitate to contact the database manager for suggestions.
Small update:
Hydrogens have been removed from all viewable models in GRIS to improve viewing clarity. However, the energy minimized models in the download section still contain hydrogens.

The GRIS paper is now officially published in the September 2006 issue of Molecular Endocrinology, including cover art!
Some new features that have been implemented in GRIS after the manuscript acceptance are listed below:
The mutant query page now shows the 10 latest mutations added to GRIS
Below the query form, you can now search mutations in the GRIS literature database by author, year, ...
A new tool, the Alignment Explorer, has been put online for GPCR sequence analysis, motif searching, ... (beta)
The links section has been updated
At the time of manuscript acceptance GRIS contained 696 mutations. Today we have a total of 748 GpHR mutations.
You don't have to send an email to the administrator to request a GRIS account for uploading mutations anymore. This can now be done using a request form.
We have a 'News' section now where all important updates will be listed! :-)
